Founded in Cesena in 2024, the TRIO di CESENA was established at the Maderna-Lettimi Conservatoire of Cesena–Rimini by three musicians: M.O Simone MANCUSI, Klarinette - M.O Matilde MELUCCI, Cello - M.O Lorenzo ROSSI, Piano.
United by a shared artistic vision and strong musical affinity, the ensemble is dedicated to exploring the chamber music repertoire, ranging from established masterpieces to significant works by contemporary composers.
While studying at the Conservatoire, the Trio’s members pursued advanced training in Chamber Music under the guidance of Alessandra Cefaliello, taking part in a wide range of projects, public concerts, and academic performances - they tour in Italy and internationally.
In 2025, the Trio successfully gained admission to the Second-Level Master’s Programme in Chamber Music at the Arrigo Boito Conservatoire of Parma, where they study with M.O Pierpaolo MAURIZZI, M.O Alberto MIODINI, M.O Giovanni GNOCCHI, M.O Amiram GANZ, M.O Francesco DILLON, M.O Luigi MAZZA.
A defining feature of the Trio’s approach is its focus on tonal colour and musical interaction. Through close collaboration and attentive ensemble playing, the musicians seek to create a balanced and engaging dialogue that highlights the distinctive character of each instrument while shaping a unified artistic voice.
